Which of you was it? | 356 Speedster, 550 Spyder, Replica, Automotive Community

I'm in my 50's, and can count on one hand the number of times I've seen a 356 on the road.

Which of you was driving on Sunbury Rd in Westerville Ohio yesterday? You turned East into Central College Rd around 7:00PM. Silver Speedster with historic vehicle license plate.

Yeah, you certainly don't see them on the road very often these days. Could it have been a real one?

It could have been real. In Ohio, the vehicle has to be 25 years old to get historic vehicle plates. But since most replicas are built on 70's era VW pans, it could easily have been built a week ago, and still qualify for historical tags.

It was a really nice speedster. I almost followed it, but I didn't want to miss any of the basketball game.
