Looking back, it's been a looong, frustrating road that seems to have taken a turn for the better.  I am so glad for you guys!

Kathy and I were talking earlier today and I told her that I think in this case, it means; "a battle to win". I didn't want to give up though a sane man would've. And finally, we've won and are enjoying the Madness.

The hood appears to be latched!

Is that too soon? I always wonder if my jokes are too soon after an event?

I haven't yet forgotten to latch the hood and hope I never forget!

Will: I like your windshield wipers. Wait, let me back up. I really like the work that has been put in to your car. It looks great and I bet drives great as well. 

That said, I hate my “standard issue” black VW windshield wipers. And love yours. Yes, I am aware you can paint them, but I don’t really care for that effect as they are still chunky, just aluminum in finish. Your wipers appear more period. 

Mind letting me know where you purchased them?, and what they are?

Kevin, they are for 50's bugs and are the same as used on Porsches of that time.

Any modifications needed or were they plug n' play?

Robert, definitely not plug-n-play.

I had to shorten the shafts and grind a flat spot in the side for the set-screws that the old models used to index the wipers onto the shaft.

Dremel tool...
