I'll send you mine; that sh*t'll buff out no problem...
Is it matching numbers?
What does a restoration on something like that run these days? More than a 61 is worth I bet.
Looks in great shape all things considered, he wants 9k but you know he will take 7k to 7.5k. Do a simple restore, don't go nuts and you could have yourself a 80k to 100k car for under 40k easy.
But that's doing everything yourself, except engine of course and praying that the motor is salvageable, otherwise it's a goose to me.
If anyone needs some or wants help with this it is 5 mins. from my house..

B model with tinworm doesn't look too attractive from an investment perspective.
That one has 1st generation vertical and horizontal adjustable seats. Adds value to worth. Wait, it needs metal on the pan. Disregard.
Oh, Oh!
Better call Maaco!
From location, 'll bet it has had a taste of Sandy too --- salt water will eat it away to a pile of ferrous oxide in another year.
That Porsche's location is 5 miles from Sandy Hook and Sea Bright NJ. It's inland and a higher local. It's protected.

Poor thing was probably put it that plastic cocoon and left to rot.
So sad.
If that car was perfect it would be in the 60 to 70 range (because T-5 B). 70 g's would get you about half way there...
It is a parts car. Unfortunate, because I bet the numbers match. Not worth saving, way too much money involved. If it were a rare car it might be a different story.
