Sorry guys but I can't remember which member here drives a cross country transporter.

I'm trying to find a way to get a PC3 power caster transported from Maine to Calif. it weighs in at 94 pounds.

It looks like this: http://www.powercaster.com/Products.html scrool down to the PC-3 model
Larry, I haul high end insurance company owned salvage vehicles for export to Europe and run dedicated from West Virginia to the New Jersey Port twice weeky. (Rich Lacy "Lacy Transport" did haul Kit Replica's in 48 states but I understand he is no longer in business.)
Palletized, banded and shrink wrapped & declare business to business shipping is your best freight rate. You can actually bargain with some freight companies as they want and need your business. ~Alan
Size depending, it can also go Fed-X ground. Might also look into an LTL carrier but if you do that, make sure it is crated. not boxed. CRATED. Try to use someone's account. Got a buddy who ships engines? Use his account, huge discount. Pay him cash and crate it with care.
