"HIS CAR IS MADE OF FIBERGLASS, AND IS THICKER FOR BETTER DURABILITY THAN MOST CARS ON THE MARKET."

Obviously a cut down coupe body or, at least, based on a coupe body considering the awkward rear clip. Maybe someone cut down an old Envemo to make a "coupester" out of it. It IS coming out of California . . . . . they do weird $#it for sure.
"He probably bought it from someone on the East Coast."
We do bag on Californians a lot, but THEY deserve it.
Two words: "So" and "Cal."

I wondered about a good number of things there, too. Howzabout the giant emblem on the hood, placed directly under the little-bitty hood handle? Or the upholstry on the windshield's top lip?
I can't pick on the rivets, 'cuz dang, but ... Seat covers on what look like Toyota seats?
What a unique collection of "I'll just glue these anywhere" lights on the back, or the "Black goes just fine on this bumper" application?
Nobody had better pick on my Grant wheel anymore, either!

There's always SOMEONE out there, though.
Wanna go Dutch on it, TC? We can donate it to Alan "Carless" Merklin ...
Lane's right. We all stood around this thing scratching our heads.
The whole body is indeed fiberglas. I was thinking envemo coupe sans roof but the Envemo wasn't an A model, was it? Unless they grafted an A front to a cut coupe body. Still walked away from that thing scratching my head. It amazes me it went across the whole country!
