Anyone running a stock front bar on a lowered VS (using adjuster) have clearance issues with the bumper brackets? I remember seeing a photo on the site of that set up with no clearance issues with the VS bumper brackets. All 3/4 inch bars seem to require some bracket mod or run into other issues. I have searched the site with no luck. Can anyone enlighten me? Any photos would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

.......notch and reweld the brackets or turn the bar upside down.
Thanks, I am aware of the notch fix. What I'm seeking is a bar that will not require bracket cutting.
JPS turns the stock bar upside down.
Been running it that way for 48,000 miles without an issue.

What you're looking for would be such a low production item that I don't think you're going to find it, as it would be too costly to tool up for. Modifying the bumber brackets or turning the bar upside down (as Alan pointed out) are probably your best bets. Aircooled.net carries an adjustable front sway bar (more money than a stock style bar) made by (I think?) Whiteline that's mounted a bit differently; have a look, as it may clear the brackets. Yoda out.

Thanks Terry, that's what I was hoping to hear.. Still would like to see photos of one on a VS if anyone has some.
If anyone has a pic of the standard bar turned upside down that would be great.
Just as a matter of reference, here are a few pics of an Empi bar utilizing notched brackets on my lowered VS.

Jim,
I see it now, thank you for the PICs. Now I can get under my car and look at what needs to be done. Did you do any further mod's to the Empi bar?
The new larger front sway bar offered improved handling over the stock sway bar which was originally mounted upside down. Just a little alteration to the front bumper mounting brackets did the job. I recommend the upgrade. Experiment with tire pressure to further enhance handling. I run 18psi front, 27psi rear. One size does not fit all. Good Luck Have Fun.
