That's a bit of a haul for me.  Hard to get away watching the little guy.  One of the newer Beck owners on here is in Kalamazoo, which is in the neighborhood.

I guess that would be me.  Caledonia is about 45-50 minutes away. If we can set something up, I would be happy to take a look at it and give you a good idea of the overall cosmetic condition of the car.  Unlike so many of us that frequent SOC, I am not mechanically inclined.  I am able to do an oil change and I suspect that I will learn to clean my idle jets........otherwise I am not good for much beyond a good thorough detailing of a car. I don't work afternoons on Fridays so tomorrow afternoon could work for me if you could set it up.

the hood cover over the engine (no side covers)....

It seems for gas money and meals you should be able to find some retired SOC dude to drive it (as long as the radio tunes in to 'Oldies but Goodies) from Caledonia to you in Malibu, er...or, where ever it is that you live.

LOL.  As paranoid as you are about posting your own address and phone number anywhere on the list, you sure didn't hesitate throwing poor Richard under the bus!

On second thought, maybe your concern is related to your Cosa Nostra links?  Are you still in the Witness Protection program?

I thought about it when I posted his info, but then I thought, "who the hell would live anywhere near Caledonia"  & figured it was safe....

The Witness Protection Program only works if you keep a low profile, I tend to be a little to vocal for that...I prefer ready mix concrete or a ball peen hammer...I am from Brooklyn after all..
