OK, I give up. I have only owned my Spyder since March 2003 and yet since I came aboard you are all bailing out on me like rats on a sinking ship!

Should I have gone over to the dark side and just bought an FFR or Superperformance Cobra replica? If I had would those owners start selling them only to purchase GT-40 replica's?

Geeez, what gives?

I'll give my opinion Ken. When I first saw a spyder I wanted one. It took a while to get and the whole time I was day dreaming what it would be like. When I got it it was different than what I imagined. I bet the expectation level and reality difference hit people. Also, it is a play toy for most people and those are usually the things to go first.

Wish I had one when I liked on Oahu - would have bene fun. Instead I had a fiat 124 spyder...which was okay
Guys - I don't see this as a big rush to sell off Spyders. I've seen maybe 4 or 5 ads in the last month. Compared to the number of Sypders there are out there, that's significantly less than 1% of the total number of owners placing ads.

Also, Mike makes a great point about anticipation of ownership versus reality of ownership....A point that is proven over and over by those of us who have the means to acquire "things"...Once we get the "thing" we want, we tend to see some other "thing" a little more desirable...It's the American way!
