Very nice, why do I have a sudden urge for a glass of OJ?

I learned something about eBay searchs from this posting. This car does not show-up under any of my search combinations. I called eBay to find out why and they say that because it is listed as a "classified" listing and the seller choose to limit it to a 200 mile radius, it will only show up for buyers within 200 miles. They say there is no way to find this car if you live more than 200 miles away from it, unless someone sends you the link like Jane did.
But Jane, you live in PA, so how did you find this car?

IMHO, the bumpers and bumper guards are a distraction to me. It would look better with nerfs.
This is my first post. I am brand new to this forum and thinking about buying a 356 replica after seeing a Vintage Speedster on Long Island a few years ago.
I happened to see this car a few weeks back. It seems to be very solid, but the shop (consignment) did not know anything about it, like who built it. The owner is supposed to be a German pilot, which makes sense since the shop (Autohaus Naples) is across the street from the Naples airport.
I made a general offer and asked the sales guy to check with the owner and call me. Never got a call and the car is still there.
Very orange. Apropos for FL I suppose.

TM,
Looks like a lightly optioned Vintage Speedster wide body. Ad states a 1600cc motor but it looks a little different from Kirk's 1600's. As it appears and with a VS 1915cc upgrade, you could get a new one for under 25K from VS.

Where did you get the seats from?

Troy,
funny you say this because when I first saw it from clicking another speedster and got an ebap prompt saying "I might be interested in these similar listings" but I immediately thought how strange that I missed this before because it wasn't fresh listing being on a while I don't know why ebay does this but if I was listing as a classified that would be a drawback to me.

Rob, custom made with sheet aluminum and multi layers of plywood with Honda Accord hardware.
Thanks Alan. I'm not really looking for a wide body. I'm thinking more along traditional lines. Having said this, your car is very, very nice.
It's not a wide body and "puffed out" per say, it is a standard IM body with minimal wheel edge flares ...very unique.
I couldnt get there by the links above but I think I have seen it out there on ebay before. Corey has a pic now on facebook of him and a couple guys cars over the weekend...a real dark what looks like charcoal grey...very cool color.

Todd, that's a Porsche Panamera color -- according to its owner, another guy named Todd!
