wide body speedster project

1956 Porsche speedster kit

This is a kit for a wide body speedster kit that was never assembled. I bought it from the 2nd owner who had good intentions but never really worked on it. The same holds for me and I have lost interest. I was going to work on this project with my son, who now is away at college and other interests.

The fiberglass body is in relatively good shape with no cracks to speak of but there are a few chips. It is primered gray, though it was it seems, originally yellow. I don

next logical question is where is the car located? Granite Bay CA?

Every time there is a link to an old post, like this, when I click on it I am told I need to log in again.

Is there actually a way to view these?

Mike: I get that too sometimes. What I do is take the post# (in this case 3266) and replace the # after the = sign in the top header bar...then hit enter.
works for me in most cases.

It has to do with how the "session variables" are handles in the forum code. It looks like the domain name is absolute (and not relative) meaning that isf you do not type "www" in front of it - that is what is stored in the session (that can time out).

So, if you are browsing with no "www" (like below), links that have www in them make the site "think" that you have not logged on to a session there.

Fred, you've been trying to sell this kit since 2003. Shouldn't the price be going DOWN?

Funny thing is that he doesn't seem to answer to inquiries; makes you wonder if he really wants to sell....
