Wide Five Hub Cover

Where can you buy the nice looking aluminum hub covers for the wide five hubs? Not convention hub caps that go on the wheel, but the covers that fit between the wheel and the hub.

CB is the cheapest place to get em as a set.

i ordered a set and three front and 1 rear came. Maryanne quickly sent out the replacement rear at no charge.

CB doesn't sell individuals though. fibresteel does. i banged up one of mine and had to order another through fibresteel. a little more $, but fast shipping and friendly folks.

We sell them as well. Same price as CB for plain, and just a little more if you want the black dust cap look for the fronts. We will also sell individual pieces, but you have to ask for me. =)

FYI, it is not a big deal to paint the front ones if you get the unpainted ones. Mine were both scuffed up a little(lots of missing black paint) so I re-did them. Mask them off and spray, rough the aluminum with a scotchbrite pad. Get them from Carey, I didn't know he sold them when I got mine.

anyone know what the diameter is of these drum skins?

it's just a shade smaller than the wide 5 inner wheel. in fact, mine are held slightly when i remove the wheel.

I got a set figuring that I might be able to mimic the Rudge knock-off just a little bit.

I love the way that way look behind a chromed wheel.

Paul, they are only slightly smaller than the wheels. If you want to use them on wide5 discs, you may need to cut the drumskin and leave only the flat part that lays against the hub.
