Not mine

I swear, this is the 3rd time I've seen this for sale in the past 6 months.

First on Craigs, then heredifferent wheels and some clean up since I first saw it)

Then here: (Cleaned up more; new wheel, grill, windscreen, side mirrors,  ... but there's too many similarities - gotta be the same car)

Past two owners haven't kept the car more than a few months, ... very odd.

Ted

It looks like the guy who's currently selling it got it for 7,600.00. Looks like he's cleaned it up and now he's trying to sell it for  profit. The current auction has the car for 8,600.00 (and reserve not met). I'd venture to guess that the reserve is set for the cost of the car, the cost of the work he did, plus a bit more for his troubles.

Makes sense if you look at it like that,
Ted

If it is the same one, then the list of cosmetic changes goes something like this:

Changed steering wheel

Changed windshield glass

Changed mirrors

Changed wheels

Changed grill(?)

Looks like the same distinctive pedals, exhaust, shine up license plate light. Can't tell about the seats. Dash arrangement the same. If the ad is right, he also swapped out the engine from an 1835 to a 1600.
