Yes Terry.  Stan, no these are the my Avon's Henry shipped back to me.  The other two should come tomorrow.  I love them and really don't want to part with them.  I put them on the Samba and got a hit pretty quickly.  I have an offer for 200 per and I can't see them sitting around collecting dust for that kind of money.

Alb, these are 175/70s I am going with more rubber on the Turbo conversion.

If Marty's wife doesn't buy shoes unless it is to retaliate for his Speedster spending then he's lucky.  My wife buys shoes because.........well, she doesn't own every pair in the world yet. (Not really her collection but close. She keeps hers in the boxes.)

 

I use the offshore (personal) account and it burns her butt -ha ha! All she sees are the boxes and occasional tires coming down the drive with the UPS man. Last week it was "Why on earth would we be getting a package from Italy? Oh that's the rebuild kit for my Dellortos -they're Italian. Don't worry I paid for it." That makes her crazy too.

 

Long time ago a guy told me to put a certain part of your paycheck aside for yourself. He said "If you give them $600 they'll spend $600... So, thanks to all the banking options available today, I put a percentage of my check via ACH splitting in my account -every check. The great part is when I get my I get my little increases in pay it more and more hidden. Never told her how it gets there. Never will. I may spill the beans however on my death bed for an added twist. So she can go buy all the female crap she wants. I just adjust my percentage.  It may be marital money laundering but it works for me.

Yes, just found out that my rims have been widened to 7.5 inches.

That's great ...you will need more rubber on the rear end with all that power...

Henry got his guy to increase the width for you.. that is good news. 

I am running 6 inch front and 7 inch rears (on 16inch fuchs. )

Care to share how much more?

Al, 205/60 15 rear and 195/60 15 fronts.  Harder to source in the USA but there out there if you hunt around. Vredestein Sport trac 5 summer tires. Stan turned me on to them.
