Will prices fall much this year?

I'm interested in buying/building/upgrading a replica sometime this year, but a pending house sale and move makes me reluctant to start anything now. I'm also thinking, as layoffs and investment losses continue, there will be some good deals in the coming months. Anyone have opinions on this? Is there already a noticable change in prices and availability?

I WOULD THINK THAT SOMEONE WHO OWNS ONE AND HAS LOST THEIR JOB OR ARE ABOUT TO LOSE THEIR HOME MIGHT SELL AT ROCK BOTTOM. I WAS WITH A REAL ESTATE AGENT TODAY WHO HAD AN AWESOME LARGE HOME BUT WAS SELLING ALL HER FURNITURE INCLUDING A GORGEOUS POOL TABLE TO TRY AND MAKE HER HOME PAYMENTS.

THIS IS GOING TO BE A CRAZY YEAR. SO DEALS WILL BE OUT THERE BUT YOU SHOULD TALK TO ALAN ABOUT HIS EX CAR OUT THERE

I second Gerd's suggestions. Both Speedsters are very nice. Alan's white car has a lot of custom touches, and is at one hell of a price. Plus, you can always ask questions of the builder on this forum. For a bit more money you can have Gerd's, which has an absolutely gorgeous paint job. Never seen it in person, but I've heard it's a sweet car too.
