I got the pieces back from the the CNC guy this afternoon and they are perfect ! I have to do a little De-burring and then...off to the polisher. These things are PERFECT !! What I really like is the groove milled into the two halves that clamp on to the windshield and the blind hole for the clamp screw ! This makes the mounting and clamping alignment easier and a better look from the outside!! The polisher needs a device to hold those two pieces together so the joining edges don't get rounded off and make it easier to hold them while polishing . The "D" Ring" part is even harder for the polisher because he has to hand-hold onto it directly and it gets really hot while he's polishing it!....You can see the pile of 1/4X20 cap screws in one of the photos. These have to be installed after the polisher finishes 90% of the polishing with the holding fixture. Then he removes the holding handle, installs the cap screw, and finishes polishing this part in that area. There's a lot to producing a high quality accessory that most of us never know about so if you buy one of my accessories please know that you will get what you pay for....HIGH QUALITY.
