I attached a picture of a full size plexiglass window that I saved a few years ago not knowing who made the speedster it was on and was wondering if anyone had any info on where I could possibly buy them or if they're available as an option from a builder, aftermarket or homemade ? I am only interested in full height windows unlike "cruzin" windows that are available. thanks for any help.

That looks like a JPS speedster and the window looks like one made for the hardtop I've seen on one or two of their cars. Because of variations in cars, making side windows is pretty much a custom fit job. I've made two sets for my car (two different tops) and each side was slightly different. To my knowledge, there is no one making off-the-shelf windows.
Surprised to not see rubber trim along the bottom edge where it rests on the door - seems it would leak and chafe the paint there.
Yeah, Greg. with the wind buffeting things around it would seem like a recipe for chafing. There doesn't appear to be any additional connections beyond the prong inserts to lend any integrity in mounting to prevent buffeting.
Could there be something inherent in the roof that we can't see that provides connectivity and a seal?

No seal is apparent at the bottom.
Pictures of entire car helped. So it has rubber seal on hardtop and has rigid mount surface there. Also with hardtop there is larger window. That's some substantial mounting pins (double normal surface area) on the plastic panel.
well that puts the picture into context and makes sense they mate to a hardtop.
I guess I'm resigned to making my own.
well...that is unless fibersteel would ever follow through with their version but I'm not holding my breath , I like the idea of their frame similar to british cars but then again I don't really want to shell out $1400- anyway. back to the drawing board.
It's kind of a fun project, but it takes a lot of fiddling to get a good fit, particularly at the front.
Pom...It wouldn't be that hard to have a local plexi shop make up a pair for you if you can't / don't have the tools at home. You could make up some patterns with the mounting pins exactly in the correct position. Lane's right, It'll take some frigging to get a nice fit at the front (the whole perimeter in fact) but it could be a fun project. I'm sure $200 would do it. The shop would surely like to use the finished product in their portfolio of happy customers and you'd be a very valuable and unique one for them. Work it to your advantage.
