I bought mine at Parts Heaven in Hayward, CA. $345.00 and I picked it up. Problem was the rubbers (priced separately)were all a little too authentic (read big) to fit my car's windshield frame and so John Steele to the rescue with the right stuff.
Make sure to check the edges of your new windshield (no matter what the source) for chips 'cuz the glass is going to be under some tension once fitted ...
I can have a windshield shipped to your door for about $50 less
than you were quoted by kit builder. the windshield itself is not
that expensive, the shipping is usually $75 of that and a $30
crate charge and its still $50 (or so) cheaper. if you need one
email me at bruceyoung5@aol.com, i,ve done this for about 8 others
on this site, let me know. good luck with your car.
I dunno... When we unboxed all the goodies to get started week before last, there was a lot of head scratchin', chin rubbin' and general consternation when we looked at the difference between the upper style rubber that came off of the car and the new one we were fixin' to put in from the windshield supplier.

I went back to a speedster builder and said, "How come?"
He said, "Dunno, wanna buy what fits fur sure?"
I said, "Yup."
Replicar rubbers were in the shop the following Monday.
Done.
