Windshield...

Hi Guys,

I'm in the process of buying an unfinished CMC...Originated in Florida where it was bought, then sat in someones garage for 10 yrs or so. It made its way to the UK in 2007 and it will soon be up in Scotland....

Most parts seem to be there apart from windshield glass....

Question I need answered is what year of Speedster was the CMC based on...Were there differences in the glass?

Do you even have the aluminum frame and the end posts? An OEM "D" or Cabriolet frame and glass can be made to fit (costly but perhaps available in UK. There was a Speedie with an MGB windshield and top fitted discussed here. Link to photo is gone but perhaps someone saved it.

It will be costly (and risky to glass) to have one shipped from US.
