Rusty:

I guess I'd ask, why would you want to buy one from Sierra Madre and risk it not fitting when you could by one from VS that should fit just fine? Neither one of them are original, and one source is very likely to fit just fine.

Is there some distinguishable difference in quality between Sierra Madre and VS windshields that makes a difference to you? Has anybody had both and seen a difference?

I have found that going to the original builder, whether that is a GM, Porsche or VS has netted me the best fit in things like body panels and anything structural.

Good luck. By the way, I have the almost plush comfort seats in my VS so that my fat butt does fit, for now. Beware of the dessert cart, it made me the man I am today.

Rusty, I have an IM roadster and got a replacement windshield from Prosource Glass, was $225.  They had a batch of those windshields that had a haze on them that they said would not come off, hence the price.  I got a glass polishing kit from Eastwood and it took the haze off with no problem.  Fit fine also.  There is an international code for every windshield.  Ask IM for the code, that's the one you want.  Can't recall what the code is for our windshields but Henry gave it to me.
