I finally got around to the windshield install this week.

The rubber seal on the bottom of the windshield has two grooves in it; a wide one, for the glass, and a thin one.

My question.....

Is the aluminum molding supposed to fit in the thin groove? If so it looks like I will have to bend the lip at a pretty steep angle to do so.

Thanx in advance,

Jerome

I was hoping you'd get to the windshield install before me. You did, so I don't have any good advice for you. But you might want to check with John York at York motorsports (see the kitmag.com website). He's built a number of CMC's in the past and he knows a few tricks to make them fit right. His biggest warning to me was be very careful bolting the frames together. It's very easy to crack the glass. Not much help, but some. Good luck. Post your results - I'll wait to see them before I attempt the install.
