I'm about to try installing my speedster windshield but the holes were never drilled for the posts. What is the hole diameter, the angle back and what is the distance (center to center) between the posts on the cowl? The old CMC manuals don't have anything in there about this. I would suggest contacting Vintage Speedster and have them trace you a template off of one of their unassembled cars.

That would be the best way to get it close.

Do a search of the forum for CMC windshield. There have been a few people that have asked the same question. That's what I did. There is a template on the site in one of the photo galleries. I also bought a lower windshield gasket from Vintage Speedsters because the CMC gasket just sits behind the extrusion and you glue it there. The Vintage gasket actually sits on the extrusion. Also make sure that the contour of the bottom of the windshied with the gasket installed matches the contour of the body. Mine didn't and I had to fill the body to match.
