Do I have this right? Is the trim and rubber u channel supposed to be cut at the angle of the windshield? The bottom of the posts align with that same angle?
Where to drill the holes for the posts? Mine does not have the dimples as some have mentioned in other threads I've read
Edit: btw I have read Gordon's thread on windshield installation but it is not clear where to line up the posts in regards to the trim. Pictures would have helped immensely

Thanks Michael. It's looks like your trim and u channel is cut up higher. Then the posts extend down a little further. I'm not looking forward to this as I feel there's very little room for error. Just want to make sure I have it right before I start cutting 😬
Where did you get the rubber gaskets for the posts (in between post and body)?
Joey: This, again, from my assembled, but not currently installed, Spyder replica wind screen. It's the same as a Speedster.
@edsnova thanks for reply. I should have been more specific. The posts themselves already have holes in them. I meant where in correlation on the trim should they be drilled so the posts line up in their proper height/ placements

Caveat: I did not make this, it came this way with my unbuilt kit. The screen fits nicely though.
Front of frame, bottom cut begins 4.5 inches below the top of the stanchion.
I think you duplicate the angle on the stanchion.
Hard to get a good measurement of the hole from the cut. Good thing the post has them already...

Make sure the post screws are not too long and hit the glass ...on my installs the long screw is about 3/4" - 7/8" and the short is around 5/16" -3/8" in length.
