I've noticed several Replicas outfitted with "wings" to cut the wind attached to the windshield on both sides. I think Karl's silver car (for sale) has them but am not sure due to the pic files being down. I've looked at Pelican's and most other sites and can't find them listed on the windshield or top parts lists..... I'll check my Tweeks mailout in a few minutes. Can anyone help me with info on these? Were they a factory option? Or, an aftermarket add on? I can see the advantage of using them in the winter/rop up climate, but wouldn't use them in the top down months... That brings another Q. Do they attach by clamps, or is drilling required?

Thanks in advance for info...

Hi Jim,

Check with Russ at Fibersteel. I think he includes a set of these with the "Plasticon" top he sells and perhaps with the Glasspar as well. I believe they mount using the two screw holes on each windshield post. Maybe have to use longer screws? Anyhow, I would think he woud sell them al a carte.
I'm thinking about getting a hard top from him. He recently shipped one here locally for an original speedster owner, so I had to see it, and well it looks as if it was always ment to be on that car.

Regards, Larry
