Hi All,

A couple of years ago I organized a group rate purchase for
windshields. Recently I was asked (emailed) if I could get some
more. I contacted my "friend" and he has a few in stock. The prices
are very resonable, shipping/box charges are the trouble but still
not that bad. Windshields would run (about)$360-$380 shipped.
If there is any interest I'll put a list together once again.
I don't want to do this piece meal. let me know-bruce
convertible "d" windshields available also===more $$

no toe trouble alan, in fact i don't want to do this. i was responding to a few emails i had recently received. the story goes--
a few years ago (two i think)i was able to get the windshields at about $159 clear, $175 tinted and i passed the savings on. I needed one also at the time and arranged a group rate price. I grew friendly
with the owner/operator and learned a few things. the reason those
windows were cheaper is because they where/are made in asia and
are slightly thinner/cheaper. the more expensive and (currently in
stock) windshields are made is south africa and australia and carry an o.e.m. name "sigla". to me it doesn't matter glass is glass,
to someone doing a correct restoration this may be an issue.
good luck with your projects-bruce
