I'd be cautious about the 356 reference. Nobody here will mind, but there are those in the aftermarket parts business who make a stern distinction between steel and fiberglass.
From the looks of it, you're not afraid of a little work. That's awesome.
I haven't seen your car before. How long have you had it? If it's new to you, you've certainly come to the right place.
Most of the manufacturers of Speedster replicas either use parts common across the reproduction community or sell their parts as a part of their businesses. Most of the replicas are VW-based, so parts are easy to come by. Stuff that gets added to the car's body, like the windshield you're after, can be sourced from Vintage, Special Edition, Intermeccanica or JPS Motorsports.
I suggest getting in touch with a Speedster owner close by where you live, and comparing notes. I'd also suggest a copy of HotVWs and a copy of KitCar Builder (magazines), a copy of John Muir's book 'How to keep your Volkswagen alive' (a maintenance manual) and a membership to a local VW club.
Welcome to the Madness! Whatever you run across with that car, we can help.
You're a long way ahead of where I was when I bought mine!
I believe DRCLOCK said from experience that some of the windshields are different at the lower edges - apparently not a big difference if its a new install with new frame. I'm not sure if a true 356 Speedster window would fit a FF/CMC. Last I check MG MAGIC in FL (954-680-2010) still had a few windshields in stock *$295 + crating and shipping rings a bell from more than a year ago). He actually bought up much of the old CMC stock so it for sure would fit.

Man, get out the fibeglass gelcoat polish and get the red color back in that Speedie - looks like a MaryKay ad now! You'd be surprized how 1500 WD sand paper and an obital buffer with polishing compound will bring back the gelcoat.
