HI EVERYONE....This is just an update on my progress to make these accessories available. My CNC friend says he will have a couple prototypes ready at the end of this week. I will pick them up, complete what has to be done, install them to make sure they work at every possible angle and insure the "clutch adjustment" for positioning works to my satisfaction. Today I ordered two sheets of acrylic. Chrystal clear for the wing windows and Smoked Dark Grey for the sun visors. This sun visor material filters out all but 13% of the daylight so I'm excited about their effectiveness as a sun visor! Currently I use transparent red visors on my car and really like them. This dark red visor filters out enough of the sun to make me comfortable driving into a low setting sun. I received very positive comments (and two orders) about these two accessories at the Pomona Auto Swap Meet last Sunday. ....Respectfully...Bruce

Cool!
Any thought on price?
And, uh...any possibility of getting copper-colored wings?
Bruce, I may be interested in the dark red visors. Thanks
Terry....Don't know the price yet because I haven't got the first production piece out of the CNC machine.. Hmmm copper colored wings ? I'll look to see if that color of acrylic exists. I know I can get Bronze in 3 different shades.
Steve....Red is easy.....It's what I use. This product is slightly darker than tail light red and looks cool for sure. .....Bruce
Just wanted to be on this thread so I continue to get updates on the visors.
Sounds great.
Bruce, how much are the red visors and how easy are they to install? How fast for you to ship them.
Thanks, Steve
Steve........I don't have a fixed price yet. I will have the colored acrylic next week. Installation is really simple. A 3/16" Allen wrench is all that is necessary. This same wrench is also used to adjust the friction mechanism which keeps the visor or wing in the position you want. I will be shipping by USPS priority mail with tracking and insured.
Bruce
I just re-read my last comment. I should explain that it isn't necessary to adjust the friction mechanism every time you move the visor/wing. It will stay adjusted even when you move it around a lot. But after a time, it may be necessary to tweak them a little bit. Hence, the 3/16" Allen wrench should stay in your door pocket etc. in a zip-lock bag in case you want to remove them or adjust the friction.........Bruce
Will they specific models--mine is a CMC so I'd be in for a set after the trial period is over.....David
Hi David.....Good Question ! I think you left out a word in your comment and if that word is FIT then read on....If your CMC uses a windshield frame like most of our Speedsters, my visors and wings will work. They are lined with a 1/16" layer of condensed foam rubber in the area that actually clamps/contacts the frame of your windshield. This is to compensate for any thickness variance and to protect the anodized surface of your windshield frame from the direct clamping pressure. That being said, I'm sure someone will demonstrate to me that this comment doesn't cover ALL windshield frames. So Please remember that this is my best effort to make these accessories fit MOST of our cars..........Upward n onward............Bruce
