Do you have rack and pinion?

Dry sump. I'm just sayin'-- it's all that.

Do you have 4 wheel discs and the bigger master-cylinder?

Head temp gauge.

Oil Pressure gauge.

Jaycee pressure relief oil filter base.

Accusump system.

On-bard fire-suppression system.

2270 RAT Type 4, Tangerine Racing exhaust (you wanted suggestions).

Do you have rack and pinion? (Won't fit on Beck.  Already checked with Carey)
Dry sump. I'm just sayin'-- it's all that. (Hmm)
Do you have 4 wheel discs and the bigger master-cylinder? (Already have both)
Head temp gauge. (Already Have)
Oil Pressure gauge. (No good place to put it.  My idiot light has worked great when I needed it)
Jaycee pressure relief oil filter base. (Intriguing.  I've accomplished this already several times by just blowing out my filter seal :-))
Accusump system. (Hmm)
On-bard fire-suppression system. (Already have)
2270 RAT Type 4, Tangerine Racing exhaust (you wanted suggestions). (They look cool, but I have a custom sidewinder setup to accomodate my exhaust tips through the bumper riser that I don't want to screw with)

Tom, take a look at the Tangerine web site and read about the necessity for certiqn sparkplug wires to prevent the petronix module from sudden failure.  I bought their wires and believe they were spiral wound. mY dist is a Mallory Unilite that Jake Raby reworked to provide the proper advance and it has the Mallory solid state module but I took Tangerine's advice and went with the spiral wound wires.

Also have remove the carpets and installDynamat throughout.  You won't believe the difference.

Al, my car came from Carey (& probably CB) with an electronic distributor.  The Petronix is probably go into the caregory "if it ain't broke, don't fix it."

Jack, your comments are helping to steer me away from messing with the ignition setup.  I do plan to add sound deadener in the doors & some NOS door handles to give the door a more quality feel.  As far as the rest goes, I'm a top down around town driver & the noise doesn't bother me.

Keep the ideas coming gang.  I DO appreciate them.

I'm a little surprised that there aren't more ideas, but, then again, you guys did help me spec out the car originally and few more improvements have been made since then :-)

As far as powertrain goes, I will run this one into the ground and then decide what to do when that day arrives.  I'm pretty comfortable with the air-cooled powertrain now.  Not sure that I could justify the expense of a Suby.  I could probably replace my mill with the same one twice over for that.

Tom:

Sounds to me like unless you want to tear into the drive train big time, you are pretty well loaded up. I'd ask Carey what's left to do and what is popular with his other customers that you haven't put on your car.

What about technology like charging port, iPhone connection, stereo stuff that you might like but don't have?

Alarm system, power door locks, keyless starting, air conditioning (redundant on a convertible in my humble opinion) extra back up light, convert to all led lighting.

Heck! I don't know.

You're right Bob.  Good idea about asking Carey.

Alarm system (nah), power door locks (nah, I think door locks were a waste of money) , keyless starting (not on a manual), air conditioning (redundant on a convertible in my humble opinion)(agreed) extra back up light (nah), convert to all led lighting. (Did the rears last winter).

NOW you're talking!  In fact, the only reason I would want a radio would be to have an antenna for one of those pole dancers.

I had one of the hula girls one time (probably not as nice as this) in a car of mine.  In the hot sunshine, the glue gave way between these body and the spring and she was no more :-(.  I'm not sure that these would fare any better.

Hmmm.  I do have a Dr. Evil bobble head in the basement.  That might fit the bill (for obvious reasons if you've met me in person),

I'm kinda partial to these:  http://www.hawaiiankinestuff.com/dahugiflplpo.html

Even the "Road and Track" staff like'em.
