Wiring aftermarket horns

You should wire your horns to a relay. Pushing the button should provide ground to the relay (which completes the circuit) to trigger the 'meep meep'.

I think there is a diagram in my never ending build thread from when I wired up the 4 caddy horns on my car.

So the fused direct from battery goes to the Relay and the other side to the new horns positive.... from the other side of the horns to the Ground of the chassis... 

From the original horn I took the power and went to the relay (switch side) and then the other to the other side which is the ground.

when you activate the horn button it activated the relay which allows Power from the battery to the horn.. 

I think I got it right.  

I think I get what I did wrong.  I just have to figure out which factory wire to the horn  is power and which is ground.  That shouldn't be too hard with a meter.

That's the same diagram that I have.  Using this diagram I should be able to wire my driving lights so they come on when the ignition is turned on.  They'll be my daytime running lights.
