I'm still struggling with what to do with mine - have a 12 circuit Painless Wiring panel (but not the wiring harness) with the mini-spade fuses and appropriate relays - probably more than I'll need in Speedie. Some mentioned using boat fuse panels but having them wired as accessory and always hot is often a pain. Many of the harnesses from VS still use the ancient ceramic open fuses and have only like 6 circuits! Found this link on dune buggy forum on the SAMBA. $75 for wire and modern fuse panel! Built in USA, power crimped and soldered, color coded and labeled with instructions.

I have used that harness on a couple projects and was pleased with the way it installed. They are cheaper on EBAY.

You will need another $100 or so in ground wire, primary wire and relays to make things work.

As an example: The large yellow wire with the crimped connector is your headlight supply wire. I personally route that to my headlight relay. I then go, from the relay, to the terminal strips you see in the pictures to distribute the power to the headlights, driving lights, dash lights, and license plate light. I do this because I like simple toggle switches in my projects.

I also use those terminal strips for common grounds.

Either way, you need the wire to run to all the lights. It is not included in the kits.

You also need to modify the fuse block as when you have the basic wiring done all you have left are two constant hot circuits.
