I am rewiring my CMC with a VS kit. I've called them a few times and Kirk is not at liberty to be my tech help, understandably. Anyway, the diagram shows the purple loop goes to the reverse light switch, the other purple to the light.. One last purple wire is in the coil wire, temp, and pressure pigtail. Does it get power off the coil? In other words, where does the reverse light get power?

Dr. Clock my disagree on the color choices in the harness, but getting back-up light power from the coil +12V makes a lot of sense, because if you leave it in reverse and shut off the engine, the back-up light will go out when the ignition is switched off.  So power off the + side of the coil, over to one side of the switch on the tranny, then the other switch side to the + side of the backup light, the other side going to ground.

That's how mine works....

He has been so helpful to me considering I've only spent $600 with them in 2 years. They are good people to deal with, and so is Carey from Beck... I attempted humor above... But those guys both have gone out of their way to help me for what I have spent with them... Heck, it's not even a VS car!!! I figured I would bug you guys, instead of a guy trying to work... Hahah
