1., I found a 'dangling' wire under my dash (black and white)that goes through a rubber tube into the trunk,on the left side of the steering wheel. It doesn't test hot with the switch on or off. 2, I tried grounding my test light several places but still was not able to indicate any juice from any fuse location.  and 3, I notice that there is more space between the wheel and the fender on the right side than the otherside.  Any ideas as to how to correct it?meade

If you recall the previous owner of your car did a TON of rewiring and added wires/scotch locks/connectors/etc... so you had several wires that were not being used.  What in your electrical system is not working?

Your wheel closer to the inside of the fender on one side is present in all of the older bodies.  It is exactly as it was in the car that was copied (likely crashed).  The chassis is square, so don't try to correct the aesthetics or you'll mess up the actual geometry.

All of my gauges appear to be functioning but I think that one end of that black and white wire goes to the ignition switch; I'll check it tomorrow.

Cary, I never knew/thought that the car was hit...except when my brakes failed when I first got the car and I slid into the back of another car going 1.5 mph.  Thje car doesn't favor one side or another and I just had the body aligned again (didn't need it).

Fog lights work...barely, never did.)  THANKS ANYWAY GUYS.

I got down and dirty and traced one of the dangling wires to the rear of the car and it's secured by bolt to my motor (?)I guess mit must be a ground.

I started on the other wire, but it started to rain ...supposed to snow IN ATLANTA tonight.  I'll work on the other wire tomorrow.  I also have a switched hot wire coming off the ignition switch and can't find what hooks onto it.  This is where the fun lies in speedster ownership...
