Boy, what would I have given for a Speedster pedal car like that when I was a kid! At least I had a Jeep pedal car that was handed down from my older brother while my boyfriend was forced to drive a tractor style! No Barbie-mobiles for me!!!

Have I got a motor for that speedy :)

My 4 Year old Grandson would love to have one... but then again, he thinks my VS is his toy.

I feel deprived......no pedal car for me.....just a saddle. No horse or pony, just a saddle.

Oh, and a saw-horse to put it on...

I was forced to drive a tractor too :( No matter how fast I tried to go, it always felt slow. I always wanted a car that looked like it was going fast even when it was sit'en still.

All I had when I was a kid was a stupid broomstick. Not the kind with the horse head on it, just the broomstick, lol.

When I were a lad I used to dream of playing with a broomstick.

All I had to play with was a bit rusty barbed wire - try sitting on that without wincing 8-)

And we used dream of living in a corridor...(MPFC humoUr)

You guys had it easy! My parents fed us rocks and if we were good,
they would nail our heads to the floor! Check out the Jag E-type, wow.

There was something about the shape of the old Ford tractors, from perspective of a 10 year old kid... looking over that big steering wheel and the long hood with headlights angled out on stems, no fenders.... well, it seemed like an old Indy car from the movies if you let your imagination go. At least that's the way I saw it long ago.

Whilst at college (doing the whole hairy art student thing) the head of my course had an E-Type coupe with the V12 in it. That car looked like it was doing a ton standing still. The same guy also owned a Citroen DS (with the swivelling headlights).

I have always wondered how anyone who showed show great taste, and appreciation for such classic automobiles, could still be such a wanker when it came to the rest of the world!
