Carlisle 2018 is well into the planning stages.

Bruce Stumpp has handed over the reigns to Cory Drake for Carlisle 2018. I've contracted again with Courtyard by Marriott, Camp Hill Pa. for our lodging and Hospitality Suite. Bill Drayer has again reserved our Thursday night dining venue at the Golf Club.  Here's hoping that the over attendance and Saturday's show field participation exceeds past years !

Additional details will start to emerge as usual after the first of the new year ~

Well I thought we would have all sorts of manufacturers there last year but only Carey and his boys were there. It was nice to see their products and I had a nice chat with them at the restaurant on Thursday night.

Also, Last year my car had an issue so I had to use my DD to get there but this year ...

I am hoping that Sabrina will not disappoint me

Sounds like a new award category: Most number of days at the showfield ever, or something like that.  And our organizers are a team, it's Cory AND Jeni, BTW.  And they are very much on top of it, Dave, and all posted up every last detail, with 8x10 color glossy photographs with circles and arrows and a paragraph on the back of each one explaining what each one was . . . um, er, slipped a cog there . . .

  Hope to see you there!!

From what I remember it's no surprise that one Canadian doesn't remember who's in charge this year! Can I get a titter?

Don't know what a "titter" is Danny but my interest  last year was about what changes might occur in 2018 not who might be running the show. I knew full well that Cory and Jeni were taking on the task and it looks like their doing a great job.

President Stan has chosen to spend most of his time in office working for the betterment of the people of Stanistan.  However, he has designed to mix among us commoners by joining us in the mountains in the fall.  I believe that to be partly because the altitude reminds him of Mount Olympus from whence he came.  Should you wish to meet POTUSOS, please join us in September.

Yeah, I’m hoping for a job in his cabinet - the liquor cabinet.

I sometimes wonder why a bunch of us have never gotten together somewhere warm in the dead of the Northern winters.  I know that some of the NJRCC folks used to do the Dominican Republic for a while.

It might be cool for a bunch of us to just happen to go to the same resort somewhere like, oh, I dunno......St. Barts or Anguilla, or....oooooh...Wait a minute, those places won't be ready til 2019.  OK, maybe a Caribbean Cruise or Disney World's EPCOT Garden Festival or something.   Even a place in Vero Beach would be good in about another month.

Actually, ANY place over 75F would look good about now......  Friggin South Pole is 9F warmer than me right now!

Ray, Stan is running an HVAC business. And so he doesn't run said business into the ground, spring is his VERY busy season. He really needs to be home in case of an emergency, so he's pretty much on-call all spring and summer.

We all wish this weren't so, but it is. The fall is when he can get away. All the AC issues are worked out by then, and the heat isn't on yet. It's just how it is.
