Well, yes, that is really something. Old world craftmanship, done w/ hammer and tongs. Good grief. and yes, the rivets remind of the Hoopty -- but wait!! That would be the Hoopty of yore. You will have to wait just a bit longer before you get to see the new Hoopty, w/ shiny paint! I can't scoop the Hooptypilot here, but I will say that I stopped by the shop and saw the rear clip less than a day out of the paint shop. All the edges are smooth, the cracks are filled, and the paint is show-quality. Hooo-ya . . .

$58K per hand build. i wonder what the hourly rate works out to be. $15-20/hr?
