Anything can be repaired. But there is more damage here than is immediately visible. The driver's door has moved at the front - back and to the right (moving the outside of the door to the left). So the support at the front of the door has clearly moved and that usually moves the cowl area as well.

The front corner/underside area, etc., are the obvious bits.

When you are said/done, you'll have a replica that has earned its salvage title while it was a replica which is not a good thing for resale.

But if you are a skilled fellow and the price is right, well, it sure looks like it was a nice car right up to the point of impact.

But it needs to be real, real affordable.

Looks like he's holding out for top dollar, but if it were close and stayed low, I'd totally be up for it. Nothing there that can't be repaired.

Skip the title crap (if it's just for a VW, that is) with a fresh shortened pan, otherwise a fresh shortened pan with a number graft. (NOBODY on the East Coast is gonna look inside the spine with a flashlight checking for welding wire and slag.)

Use the new pan as a body jig, mount the remains to the pan and push/pull the busted bits into place, the doors ought to fall into line pretty easily, bolt things down and start fiberglassing.

I wouldn't even replace the fender unless I stumbled onto a cheap one, repair it in place. Not difficult, just time and patience.
