wrinkled top

My VS went topless for most of the summer...folded behind carefully behind the seats under the toneau.Black vinyl that previously fit drum tight and wrinkle free.

Repositioned it up last weekend. now it has 'pressed in' random wrinkles spaced between the button-down edges and the door cutout...(the detached fabric corners that got squished and stuffed out of sight!) I was hoping that the tension (and perhaps sun) would clear them up...to a small degree, yes, but still unsightly.

Any suggestions?

I keep the top up in its relaxed state when the car is in the garage to try to avoid this.
