Not too many; they're very similar. The Dells have a chirping sound when accelerating; I like it because it makes the engine sound meaner. Another thing that I've read is that Dellortos flow more than their equivalent Weber, given the same venturi sizes. For example a Dellorto 40 flows like a Weber 44. Apart from that they're both great carbs, not difficult to dial in and pretty much maintenance free after they're set, provided you don't tinker with them too much.
What about the link I posted? $410.00 (including shipping) for a pair of professionally rebuilt to like new condition Dells (which are no longer being produced) jetted to your requirements doesn't seem like a bad deal at all. Add about $150.00 to $160.00 for a set of CB Performance's set of manifolds, air cleaners and hex bar linkage and you're set.
