We have both the milky white ones (I see them on a lot of VS) and our own standard clear ones. White ones are cheap... not so much on the clear ones though.
I'm using Lucas L594 clear glass lenses with an amber bulb on my Speedie. They are the proper size for the chrome grills. They look very correct. They are about $30 each (complete with lense, chrome trim ring, base and waterproof rubber gasket) from British sportscar places like Moss Motors. You can get single or double filament bases too. I'll post a photo later. They also come with dark amber and red glas lenses. Red ones are suitable for rear beehive lights but are a tad smaller that the costly OEM type replicas. These were used on '60's TR/MG/AHs.
Thanks link. I will look into that. One orange one got misplaced so rather than buying a single orange one. I think I will spring for the upgrade.
