Anyone know of any fiberglass deck lid makers? I know Rusty Tubs makes a louvered kind, and I've been steered away from them.
Any other sources?

Steered away from the louvered lid or from Rusty Tubs? Rusty Tubs also sells the standard version without louvers.
Check Vintage Speedsters. Pretty sure I've seen deck lids for sale on their site.
My experience when talking to Kirk about a louvered lid for my car is that you will find he won't be very anxious to sell you a louvered lid unless he has your lid and possibly your car there. I think the reason is because each lid is slightly different and just selling you a lid might require that you need to do some fitment.
Didn't someone buy a "used" louvered Spl Ed Beck lid and state that it fit perfectly on their CMC? If its a CMC stock lid you are looking for MG MAGIC has the 2 piece lid. Outer is $170 and inner is $175. I still think the wart removal on yours is an easy fix.

Yeah, I was going to remove the wart, but wanted to have a "back up" plan - And up until now, only had a single source (rusty tubs) to find a new deck. So I didn't want to get into the middle of surgery have the patient die and not have a back up.
The previous own really mucked around with the underside, it's very weak, so I would have to reinforce it before cutting it out, ...

I bought the louvered deck lid from a member here that had it on his Beck and it fit like it was made for my CMC. The louvers are a bit more aggressive than those that are offered by Rusty Tubs but I really like the way it looks on my car.
I like those a lot!
I have a lid from my CMC but it has a whale tail. A local fiberglass guy would paint and glass it however I wanted---duck tail, smooth, two halves etc for $200. I wil sell it for $75 plus you pay for shipping

Not a bad idea. I have the Beck grill that came with the lid so I'll paint it and see how it looks. Should actually look pretty good.

My wife is not a fan of the whale tail - I'm looking for either a louver or stock.
I can get you one for a CMC.
