This Fram FH6 filters were used on LOTS of stuff in America and are all pretty much the same size (they all used the FH6/FP6 filter element). They were retro-fitted on Ford, IH and Allison farm tractors from the 1930's through the 1960's, and on Ford and Chevy (and other) cars and trucks during the same period. Should be a lot of them out there but, as someone mentioned, if you look specifically for a Porsche oil filter it'll cost you the arms and legs of most of your neighborhood. Once refurb'd, painted and decaled, they look the same as a Porsche version
Here's a good web page on them:

P.S: If you find a Frantz canister filter, it looks the same but is a tad larger in diameter and usually chromed. The Frantz did not use an FH6 filter element but used, instead, a simple roll of toilet paper (unscented, please). They were very highly effective (no kidding, right?) and were popular in the '60's and '70's with Hot Rodders.

Sadly, I trashed five Frantz filter set-ups when I cleaned out my Dad's shop after he died. You can only keep just so much stuff in my smaller shop - his was 140' by 30' !
