Long story short, I found one but the deal may fall through due to a title issue. Im looking to spend $8-10k and not afraid of it needing a little bit of work. If anyone knows of any or can keep me in mind, id prefer black or red...... Thank you
If price was right on one you had in mind, titling issues can be fixed. Worse case is a replacement VW pan with good title and a little surgery. Find a rusted/crashed Super Beetle and buy the rear hunk. Pan cars all started with that process and a slice to remove 10.5". I'd check seller and cars prior history out very carefully first though. Get the dash chassis # and the plate under the hood as well as a Bill of Sale (for both donor and replica) as well as the title for the donor pan.
