Starting my build and noticed the lower windshield trim frame is missing. Looking for someone that has and extra they want to sell. I have a CMC wide body '57 speedster on the east coast NOVA.

That's a rare piece to find VS has them for $75 plus shipping
Thanks I've got a call into them to find out how much for shipping to Dulles.
Alan do you have a copy of the template to locate the frame pins to the cowl? I thought I remember you writing abut it in a thread.

Reach out to Gordon or Wolfgang. One of them has the template from the build guide.

Call Cathy at Vintage ...she gets things right more than Kirk as he has a lot going on. Templates I have are for the post placement...you set the glass into the rubber , slide the aluminum base trim under that, mark position with tape, be sure to trim the aluminum edge matching the post angle
Yup that's template I got years ago from the CMC-Help line. I added the measurements as it was a very rough template. I see MG Magic has the base piece but it says special order. That has to be off the shelf material.
Thanks everyone! I ordered the fram from VS and printed out the template which will be a big help.

DrClock has used VW fender beading under the aluminum piece to give a finished look. I haven't tried since mine is firmly riveted down and can't take a step backwards. Maybe he has photo of what it looks like.
Good rubber fender well trim works but you have to be careful when rounding the windshield posts, it does give it a nice finished look and is water tight
After Alan told me about this approach, I got a roll of VW fender welt and tried it on my last build....Even ran it under the corner posts. The stuff looks terrific and is cheap, too! I still have what's Left of the roll (enough for a couple more Speedsters) and might part with it (if I can find it up in the garage attic!!)
GN I could use the left over pc for a windshield install....
I've look in the forum but no luck. Does anyone have pictures of what it looks like after the fender well trim is used.
