Steven, can you mail me some pictures too?
The older Intermeccanica's really do have the best shape! It's a straight copy of the original. The later IM's (like mine) were broadened at the rear, 1 inch at each side, to enable the use of the 1302/1303 suspension (which really makes the car a great driver!!!)

I'd be interested in some pics too! Thanks, Michael

Carl, did you get the pics?
Mail me at my regular email and I will respond to that address.

Additional info on the car is the Type 4 motor also includes double weber 44's, Raby's DTM kit (downdraft cooling). Runs strong with healthy torque, never overheating.
I have put just under 3000 miles on the new motor/trans.
New to the car are aluminum slotted racing pedals and genuine rockguards at the headlights.
I just returned from the BlackCanyonClassics-car show,600 miles roundtrip in the mountains, the Speedster took second place, and a first place in Estes Park in 2005.
Locally at the Concourse de Elegance, Porsche sponsored event, 2 Porsche judges remarked to each other, as I was sitting in the shade away from the car, "I don't know, I can't tell"
refering to is it real or not as they each had their hands in the wheel wells looking for the rolled under fender lip, which IM does so well.I guess they didn't notice the center tunnel, which is the clear giveaway.
Respond and I will get you the pics.
Thanks

You know Steve I went to some funky 356 rally in Hawaii with my first IM backin the early 80s and they were all sucking that Nardi and the Anza and emblems and whatnot and they really wanted see the engine but my girlfriend said ...hey we are eatin their food and they might not really like the idea of a replicant crashing the party ,,,,,,,so we skedaddled .I think that is one of the reasons Henry left CA. for Canada those cars could fool just about anyone. In fact one of mine was reg, as a 57 Porsche. The doctor I bought it from was the original owner and had taken it back to Kentucky. They asked him what is it? Its a 57 Porsche .Voila!!

Incidentally Steve you have an extremely cool ride but the colors are not mine as I have not had good luck with red.
