Sad thing is there was one on EBay not long ago. Not sure if it will come up in past auctions or history.
I inquired three or four times to this vendor re: hardtops and received nothing but
"clever / sketchy " answers. YMMV. Good luck.
They do seem too buzy to be bothered with buyers but he's only 6 hrs away.
let him, "twist in the wind"
Maybe he meant adding flares to his standard classic body half could be done. Ok - how about this approach - Buy the $695 mold and make the part yourself?

I have seen that car before I believe. Did you get it in Elizabethton, TN? I have a cmc wide body that a good glass man could get a mold from. I thought about tackling it myself but I currently have more projects than time. You are welcome to get measurements from my car if it helps in the refab process.

If I can be of help, I live within 20mi. of "Rusty Tubs"..... Would be happy to take a look for you.... If you two reach a deal, I might be persuaded to drag it up to N.C. .... They are quite pricy though....
Dont use metal mesh.....best to cut support stays out of the damaged pcs, bond with 3m fiberglass adhesive, cut a 2.5 shallow groove through the gelcoat setting in a layer of fiberglass cloth. Be sure all surfaces are propperly prepped or it will fail over time
Illinois Speedster body mold shows "pending" now! Did you go for it? Have you seen the red Speedster trailer that shows up at Carlisle. Very cool.
