If they are genuine Fuchs, you might want to spec the width and offset as they were available on several different Porsche models.... The fake Fuchs vary also....
KIRK AT VINTAGE SELLS THEM FOR HIS WIDE BODIES CHECK OUT VINCES RIDE HE HAS THEM
THE CAR IS AN O6 JPS REPLICA
They aren't Fuchs, real or otherwise. Though there is a nod in that direction, certainly. I've never seen anyone else sell this style of wheel besides Vintage (vintagespeedsters.com).
These appear to be a great deal on my local FL CL - $300 for 4 desirable 16" Fuchs. Need a good polishing. NOT mine.

It doesn't say they are Fuchs. I'll bet they're cast copies. At $75/wheel, a decent deal though (if they clean up).
I thought about going with 16" Fuchs wheels, but they're damn heavy. I didn't even know someone made replica Fuchs 16s.
Ron- I wouldn't bet the farm on it, but I was under the impression there were copies made. And I can't see anyone selling real 7x16's for $75 a piece....
If they are originals it's an OUTSTANDING price.
Al, did you contact Darren? I'm still trying to figure out if I should go with the 40x35s or upgrade to something with 42x37 valves.
Thanks
Ron

Hi Ron- I thought you'd already gone ahead with your guy hogging them out some more. I'll see about getting hold of Darren tomorrow (it is 12.30 Sat night and I have had a couple of glasses of red wine at a neighbor's house...).
Why are we all talkng about Fuchs. Those wheels are not Fuchs.
Thanks Al. Can you PM me, or reply via email?

I KNOW
A lot of the after market wheels are not tested or certified. Europe (at least Germany) has very strict certification requirements due to unrestricted autobahn speed limits. CIP1 has a long list of aftermarket rims starting at $79/wheel.

Love my Mahles!
Stefan,
Did you ever find these rims? I'm looking for the same thing and cannot find anything about them.

I may be wrong, but aren't those the same wheels that Troy and Vinny have on their wide bodies?
Roland Rascon told me that the guy who makes those wheels is very near VS's shop. I also had them on my VS Superwide.
I wonder what they weigh? They look heavy.
Don't know weight but they are heavy.
Love my Mahles!
Terry, do you have a set of Gas Burners? A local guy has a set on Craig's List. I'd love to buy them, but $2200 is too much for me.

Mike Broccolo was who I wrote to and he said he would be able to help me get these and was going to get me a price quote, but I never heard back from him. That was two weeks ago. I won't need the wheels for my car until June, so I did not press on at this point. I'm going to keep looking for others. If I hear from Vintage, I will post immediately. Please post if you find anything.
I also went to an auto wheel specialty store who had forty or so catologs and they were unable to find them. Let's keep looking...
Nice, thanks.
I will also continue looking.
Stefan and Craig.
It sounds like you already figured it out, but those wheels are not Fuchs, they are custom made for Vintage and JPS widebody cars. Yes, they are the same wheels that Vince and I have on our super widebody Vintage Speedsters and they are the 5 bolt Chevy pattern.
Troy
Troy,
thanks for the confirm. because they are custom, we could not find the manufacturer, and vintage was hard to get info from. are the ones you have 16"?
