Hey guys, I'm looking for a sub 20k 356 in the CA area in the next 3 days.. checked out some in Vegas, making my way down to LA then back to Hawaii..

I've been researching for the past 5 years, finally decided to start with a used one until I know exactly what I want.. I started to become brand snobbish (hard not to when you keep reading X > Y) but I figured for a first time owner, they will probably all be fun to drive..

to give you a little more info, I plan to use this as a daily driver to and from work (much as I do with my current 56 ford f100), not more than 20miles both ways combined.. I need either a roof or something that'll keep me dry for those off and on sprinkles we get in Hawaii..

EVERYTHING else I can modify or upgrade in time, I just need to start somewhere, and a 28k Beck is not where I feel comfortable starting.. VS, all wheel disc, IRS, nice paint nice interior sounds like it's right up my alley (anyone care to chime in?)

I've currently emailed/texted everyone and everything in the CA area I could find on Craigslist and eBay, now covering all my bases and checking here and thesamba.. BUT, if any of you know personally one for sale, and can point me in a direction, that would greatly be appreciated! I hope to soon be a part of the family as this is one of my dream cars I hope to find on this mini vacation!
