I have a pair of 914 seats with hi-backs removed.  Have new D handles and complete (with toothed rocker pieces) tilt and slide bases.  Have old black OEM upholstery which will need to be replaced.  They fit well in even a pan based car and are comfortable (I once had a 914).  Located in NW FL.

914 seat

Much more comfortable and look good when finished properly.

Here's a pair on ebay for $300 - missing just the toothed rocking gear and hinges (both could be fabricated). Can't tell if they have the bases or just the one 1/2 of the slide track (the seat bases could add another $75-100 if not there).

If you get that far, Speedster seats can be shipped in a medium wardrobe box used for moving households (available to buy at U-Haul stores).  If you're careful, you can ship two (one upside down) in the same box - just drape an old blanket over the bottom one and drop the top one in upside down.  The size makes them expensive to ship - say around $150 mid-country, $300 coast-to-coast.
