Thanks for your response. Looks like there are "wide body" & "super wide body" cars. I wonder whether the link I put in my ad above is an example of the latter?

Yes, the link you posted is an ultra wide (or super wide) style that i believe is only made by Vintage Speedsters. If that's the style you want, you'll have to stick with that make.

Thanks for your response Justin. I guess that answered my question and indeed that's the body type I'm after. 

I guess I should also stick with California cars since importing out of state and getting them plated might be too hard.

As you have already read, that is a Vintage Super Widebody that I sold a couple if weeks ago.  Vince has talked about selling his car, which is very nice.  I also have one, but have not considered selling it.  Just contact Vince and see if he is still thinking of selling his car.

6K miles on tub less than 2K on motor...runs great....registered as a 64 VW
