Wondering if anyone would entertain a possible trade for a coupe. I'm sure there are some owners out there with possibly both or a coupe just hanging out not getting much love.
Dont get me wrong- I love airing it out with the droptop, but a coupe would benefit me more.

My reading makes it seem, like the hard top is much a guessing game if it'll fit or not. I guess unless I get it custom made, which is most likely not in any of my mod budget.
You'll most likely have to bring money to the table with a trade (if you can find someone) and I'd bet the custom fitted hardtop would be less.
I think any hard top would require some final fitting - could be somewhat extensive as Allan found when he had to cut one in half to extend it. Since most CMCs were customer built, the windshield placement could vary. Rusty tubs has one specially designed for kit cars that is somewhat extended. For $1295 it worth a try! Located in NV.

Yes, we all should know what we're dealing with.
They were horrible when in ATL GA - they say in ads they are very busy and hard to contact. So suspect more of a dice roll now that they moved to NV?

So I finally found my speedster's replacement. 1972 BMW 2002tii. I'll be following up here with a FS post but as a soft sell the tub is now available.
I've always wanted a 2002. Way back in 1975 a friend bought a new tii. Man, I loved that car!

nice. I had a 74 wich I m flared out it looked great with deep dish bbs rims, sold it to a buddy before I had a chance to finish it. my car I wound up selling last December to another buddy of mine with the condition that he ever sell it I would buy it for what I sold it to him for .hes giving it the attention I couldn't ,since I got my speedster I didn't drive it much.now im getting my coupe and the speedster will probably get less attention lol....
