I looked and contacted dozens of places (cip1, air-cooled, CB performance, Massive, Bugback, Samba, ebay) even spoke to SoCal, and no one sells these longer studs separate or with the oil cooler. I did find one ad on Samba with a used cooler w/studs, but I already have the cooler—new.
Anyone have any spares willing to sell or know where to find them?

Should just be 6x1.0mm x 105mm studs.

germansupply.com has them but at twice the price. geneberg.com has them but in a $115 kit.
As a note, McMaster carries metric threaded rod also, for the custom jobs....
Justinh, thank you for the exact size and link. I'll note the metric size on their site as well. This was just the info I needed. Seemed like it was a "holy grail" of things to find if you didn't have the studs to begin with. I bought mine cooler from SoCal. Guess I should have paid the extra and bought the berg kit.

As far as I know, type 4 engines are the only place they're used, so they're not something the normal beetle enthusiast/parts hoarder would have in his stash.

As odd as it may sound... I *may* actually have these. I purchased a new Type4 cooler from CB performance when I installed my 1915. I'm pretty sure they sent me the studs. Let me check when I get home tonight.
